The Waco Downtown Farmers Market is a year-round market. Since November 2011, the Market has been and will continue to be open every Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm (noon in July and August), featuring the best local agricultural producers and artisan vendors within 150-miles of Waco. Cultivate Days is a one time, 4 day event where Cultivate will be hosing a variety of local artist, classes, food, and events. All of the profits of this weekend will be donated to Cultivate 712, so that we are able to keep our doors open, and able to continue cultivating the arts through community in Waco. Typically children taken from their home and put into foster care are given a trash bag for a few changes of clothes and nothing more. They have to leave all the comforts and security of their home behind. Attending this event can change that!
$30 covers entry into the event, Free Snacks, Live Music AND a duffel bag with a teddy bear, blanket, hygiene kit, and coloring book/crayons to stuff it with. Fourth on the Brazos is a Waco tradition! Every July 4th, 15,000 people come together for a celebration of food, music and the H-E-B Fireworks Extravaganza!
This year's event is set for Thursday, July 4 at Touchdown Alley next to McLane Stadium at Baylor University. Admission is FREE! We will have plenty of food trucks, a Kids Zone, interactive booths and more!

Make plans now to attend the biggest, coolest, hottest party of the summer – the 24th Annual Margarita & Salsa Festival happening at the Extraco Events Center in Waco. All proceeds benefit the Scholarship Program at the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo. This is one of the larger music events on the Waco calendar, with local favorites and top Country musicians. It’s the Second Annual: Waco Oktoberfest benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association! They need your help to make this an incredible event so bring your friends and family for a day full of fun!
All proceeds go to the MDA to support the families in our community. The money raised goes to help the MDA create more hope and answers for families living with muscular dystrophy and related diseases that take away physical strength and mobility.

Some of Waco’s biggest “STARS” have been teamed with professional dancers “PROs” and have begun training and preparing for an unforgettable show! These dancers rely on your commitment for a successful performance and a chance to win the competition on the big night. Your support also helps the staff and volunteers at Family Abuse Center to provide safety, education, and support for survivors of domestic violence
