Make Your Own Terrarium

Ephemera Terrariums will walk you step by step through how to make and care for your very own Terrarium! Once that's done, you'll visit our Decoration Station where you can use our wide variety of gravels, mosses, woodsy bits and tiny toys to bring your mini world to life!

Class is $20 and includes plant, all supplies and instruction to build our classic bubble bowl Terrarium. Or make it deluxe and build our stylish cylinder Terrarium for $30. Classes will be held at 6:30pm and 8pm. Tickets are required and space is limited. This event is All Ages friendly!

The Waco Downtown Farmers Market is a year-round market. Since November 2011, the Market has been and will continue to be open every Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm (noon in July and August), featuring the best local agricultural producers and artisan vendors within 150-miles of Waco. Camping & Hiking Workshop

If your child loves spending their nights under the stars, or wants to start getting outside and exploring, this workshop is for them. Cabela’s will help prepare your child with what they need to know to be safe and have fun in the great outdoors. Just for coming, you receive a camping and hiking backpack clip, free booklet, and lanyard to mark off the workshops that you attend. Attend all 5 and you will get the completion backpack clip! There will also have different crafts for each event. Also outside of the store will be a family activities area filled with outdoor games.

Fourth on the Brazos

Fourth on the Brazos is a Waco tradition! Every July 4th, 15,000 people come together for a celebration of food, music and the H-E-B Fireworks Extravaganza!

This year's event is set for Thursday, July 4 at Touchdown Alley next to McLane Stadium at Baylor University. Admission is FREE! We will have plenty of food trucks, a Kids Zone, interactive booths and more!

2019 Waco Oktoberfest

It’s the Second Annual: Waco Oktoberfest benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association! They need your help to make this an incredible event so bring your friends and family for a day full of fun!

All proceeds go to the MDA to support the families in our community. The money raised goes to help the MDA create more hope and answers for families living with muscular dystrophy and related diseases that take away physical strength and mobility.

What to expect: -Live Music, Craft Biergarten, Giant Beer Tent, VIP Tent, Kids Fun Zone, Giant Yard Games, Oktoberfest Games, .5k Beer Run, Local Food Trucks, German Food Hall, Football Watch Party, Oktoberfest Market Square, and more!!

No Dogs, Coolers, Outside Food or Drinks Allowed. (Service Dogs Allowed)
