Waco Walks: The Arboretum
April in Central Texas means wildflowers! Join Waco Walks to learn about the many wildflowers and native plants at the Carleen Bright Arboretum in Woodway. Aaron Lincoln and Randy King, Heart of Texas Master Naturalist leaders and experienced naturalists, will lead you on a walk through the various gardens, groves, and trails of the Arboretum to observe and discuss not only plants but bugs, birds and any other natural wonders we might encounter.

MEET UP LOCATION: Carleen Bright Arboretum, 9001 Bosque Blvd, Woodway. Meet in front of Whitehall Center (church replica). Parking is available at the Pavilion at the Arboretum, Woodway City Hall, and Woodway Family Center.
WALK LENGTH: 1.5 miles

ACCESSIBILITY: The trails are a mixture of surfaces including pavement and gravel.
HYDRATION: Please bring your own water.
DOGS: Dogs welcome, but they MUST be on a leash, and you MUST scoop the poop, per arboretum rules.
