Aleah Burns discusses the increasingly complex relationship between humanity and technology, depicting the human figure both encompassed within and obscured by literal and symbolic screens and other imagery inspired by the digital world.

Ariana Peña investigates her own experience as a twin and the unique complexities that come with it through colorful depictions of both the human figure and an imagined monster-figure, coming together in surreal, somewhat eerie paintings that offer a different view of what it means to be a twin than what most would expect.

Kiera Cameron makes bold statements about appearance and perception, commenting on the objectification of women through the depiction of the female figure with advertisement-like elements such as text and flat, bold colors.

Kristen Ballard paints intimate embodiments of the dawn and dusk in human form, using soft, limited palettes to depict form and flesh in portraits that are calm, yet full of feeling.

Kate Swayze depicts reinterpreted family photographs on affixed painting rags from previous paintings, emphasizing the fabricated, cyclical, and evolved memory of family narratives as they pass through generations. The figures are depicted in various stages of completeness relative to the prominence of that figure in her memory, each element hinting at the artistic process and the passage of time.
